The Royal Center for Research, Education and Healing shall be constructed in the township of Bambui, which is approximatly 18kms to Bamenda. The design is influenced by the rural area.
In Cameroon the kings take on organizational and social responsibility. The King´s Palace is not only the home of the „Fon“ (king) but also the social center for the community. At the moment there is a school and other facillities in it, but the complex is old and has no concept.
Therefor the „Fon“ asked us to help him build a modern complex.
The key element will be the social place, where a university with seminar rooms shall be constructed on two floors.
In the administrativ area there will be severaI facillities relevant to the community of Bambui. Not only waiting rooms and offices shall arise, but also the public library aswell as a museum.
The royal premises will be located in the rear, single-story part. These include a court, healing rooms aswell as the king´s audince house.
This video demonstration was produced in late 2013 for the king and the inhabitants Bambuis and shows the planning in the 3D model .
